Urban Anthropology and partners offer the following programs, services, and activities in Lincoln Village/Baran Park (the Park Neighborhoods).

Winter Wonderlands Youth Program

The Winter Wonderlands program brings youth to the Old South Side Settlement Museum to learn about several of the cultural groups in the Milwaukee area. Youth will try the winter foods of antiquity of these groups, and participate in a range of winter sports. Our anthropologists also teach the youth the cultural traditions involved in winter sports, such as skating and tobogganing. As part of this program the anthropologists will also sponsor some limited skating for families on the lagoon at Kosciuszko Park.
