Anthropology Inc. (UrbAn) is the only non-profit organization in
the United States engaged exclusively in the practice of urban anthropology.
Our Mission: UrbAn is a community based membership association dedicated to the
celebration of cultural diversity and a holistic approach to urban
problem-solving.

OPENING FOR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
A national search is underway, and may be underway for several years, for a new executive director for Urban Anthropology Inc. Our current director and founder, Dr. Jill Florence Lackey, has served the organization for over a decade without a salary, and has served us exceptionally well. But she recognizes that for this unique organization to sustain its current growth, the time has come to fund the position and to transfer leadership to a new director so that she has the time to disseminate UrbAn’s work and the unique model throughout Wisconsin and elsewhere.
