Explore Milwaukee’s Kashubian and Northern Polish Roots
(This tour is available for groups of 5-8 people only)

  • Learn how the Kashubes and Northern Poles are living today in Poland

  • Learn about the origins of Milwaukee’s South Side architecture
Streets of Gdansk Hel Peninsula and the “Kashubes of the Sea”

 

The experience begins in Milwaukee with:

  1. Boat tour of “The Kashubes of Jones Island”
  2. Tour of Old South Side Settlement Museum and Lincoln Village architecture

Tour then moves to Poland

Stay on either the Bay of Puck or Hel Peninsula (original homes of the Kashubes of Milwaukee)

Polish land tours include:

  1. The Hel Peninsula
  2. Kashuby Lakes Region
  3. Fabulous Gdansk
  4. Other tours are available at extra rates including Malbork Castle, the largest Medieval castle in Europe; Torun, home of Copernicus and on Unesco list for architecture; and the WWII concentration camp of Stutthof

Price: $2,800 a person*, which includes

  1. Milwaukee tours
  2. Limo to Chicago O’Hare and back
  3. Round trip airfare to Gdansk
  4. All rides to and from Gdansk airport
  5. 7-night accommodations on the Hel Peninsula, or
  6. 7-night accommodations at the Sobieski Castle on Bay of Puck ($248 extra for full 7 nights)
  7. Three tours in Poland (conducted by Polish tour guide in English)
  8. Tour guide that will be with the group for the entire trip, including Milwaukee, and serving your daily needs (i.e., “spoiling” you)
  9. Continental breakfasts delivered to your room
    Special amenities provided by your guide that are not usually provided in hotels in Poland
